Bottom club Dundeeās troubles deepened at Dens Park as they lost once again, this time to fellow strugglers Partick Thistle.
This result was a sixth straight defeat for the Dark Blues and means they remain without a win in the Premiership since August 6.
Now they have to head to Hamilton Accies on Saturday to face a side that is full of confidence after beating Aberdeen on Tuesday, hoping it’s not seven in succession.
Thistle seemed in the mood all game and their policy of sending cross after cross into the Dundee box paid off on 29 minutes, when they took the lead through an Ade Azeez header.
The hosts then had a great chance to end the half level but captain Darren OāDea headed Cammy Kerrās cross just inches wide of the post.
However, the Firhill side then made it 2-0 on 62 minutes when Azeez cut the ball back for Kris Doolan to shoot home from close range.
