Dundee boss Paul Hartley is hoping that Marcus Haber and Craig Wighton can form a deadly double act. The pair played together in the win against Hamilton with the 6ft 3in Canadian linking up well with the home-grown teenager. However, Hartley has demanded even more from Wighton, calling on him to finally live up to his undoubted potential. The manager said: “Marcus has been good. He was excellent at Hamilton. “We had to fight at Hamilton and be a little bit more direct at times. “When it went up to him, he took it in and that’s something we’ve not really had for a while. “Hopefully he can have a good partnership with Wighton.” When asked if Haber could help bring the best out of the 19-year-old, Hartley answered: “Craig has got to bring the best out of himself. “We all know he has ability and talent and he now has to step up to the plate. “We know he’s still a young man. Being in and around the first-team, there’s been an expectation surrounding him. “But he showed a different side to him last week. He showed a real maturity which was great.”
