Dundee striker Marcus Haber played the full 90 minutes for Canada today against South Korea but could not prevent his country falling to a 2-0 defeat.
South Korea, who are managed by former German international Uli Stielike, raced into an early lead and were two up within 25 minutes.
Haber, who opened his account for the Dark Blues last Saturday against Motherwell, had a chance to pull one back for Canada in the 80th minute of the friendly in Cheonan but his header clipped the top of the bar.
The 27-year-old will now embark on the 5,000-mile trip back to Scotland with Dundee boss Paul Hartley hoping he will return fit and well as his side start to gear up for next week’s trip to Ibrox to face Rangers.
