Dundee will be without key midfielder Paul McGowan for the game against Celtic a week on Saturday with the player set to serve a suspension. The 29-year-old picked up a booking in the 87th minute of Saturday’s game at Kilmarnock after tugging back the home side’s Souleymane Coulibaly. It was McGowan’s sixth caution of the Premiership campaign which means he automatically incurs a one-match ban. The SFA have confirmed that will be served from December 17 meaning he will miss the trip to Celtic Park. That will be a big blow to Dark Blues boss Paul Hartley with McGowan usually one of the first names on his team-sheet.
