Dundee are reported to have taken a midfielder on trial from the Netherlands.
The Dutch media have suggested Go Ahead Eagles attacking midfielder Kevin Brands has travelled to Dens Park to try to secure a contract with the Dark Blues.
Brands, 28, only signed for the Eredevisie side in the summer.
Already in this transfer window they have brought two midfielders to their club from the English Premier League – Dan Crowley of Arsenal and Liverpool’s Pedro Chirivella. They have also snapped up Brighton striker Elvis Manu.
The report from Holland stated: “The attacking midfielder from Go Ahead Eagles is this week on trial in Scotland with Dundee FC.
“With the arrival of the attacking players Elvis Manu and Daniel Crowley, it would seem playing time in the second half of the season is even smaller.
“Scotland would therefore be a good step for Brands.”
Brands previously played for Dutch side NAC Breda.
