It’s a Dundee double in the November Championship awards.
Gary Bowyer has been named the Glen’s Manager of the Month after guiding the Dark Blues to within a point of leaders Ayr United at the top of the table.
That recognition for the Englishman follows winger Paul McMullan being selected as the division’s player of the month.
Bowyer, whose team were the only ones in the Championship to get three wins out of three, said: “The award is an indication of how well the players and staff have done not just over the month of November but the time leading into these games as well.
“To get three victories back to back in this division is a tough ask and I’m delighted we were able to achieve that as a group.”
Star turn McMullan
It is the former Blackburn, Blackpool, Brentford and Salford City manager’s first Glen’s Manager of the Month award since he took over at Dens in the summer.
McMullan has been a star player for Bowyer.
After finishing October with a goal in the 2-2 draw against Queen’s Park, McMullan played a big part in victories over Patrick Thistle, Raith Rovers and Hamilton Accies, scoring the winner in the last of those fixtures.
He also found the net in the Scottish Cup triumph against Airdrieonians.
