Dundee forward Craig Wighton admitted he hasn’t been in peak form recently in the dark blue of his club. But he knows he must have been doing something right to be asked to wear the dark blue of his country. Wighton, who was in Scotland under-21 action last night in a friendly against Estonia, has made 26 appearances for the Dens Park club this season. He couldn’t quite be described as a first team fixture yet, though. He said: “I’ve played a lot of games and done all right. “I’ve maybe not been as great recently, which is frustrating for myself. “However it is good that the under-21 manager has thought I’ve done enough for my club to call me up. “There have been a few times when I’ve been left out which has been disappointing, but I’m grateful he’s picked me.”
