Striker Yordi Teijsse has parted company with Dundee by mutual consent.
Paul Hartley plucked the forward out of the Dutch amateurs last summer but the experiment never looked like being a success.
He made his Dark Blues debut as a second half substitute in the Betfred Cup 6-2 win over Dumbarton at Dens in July and then scored on his first start against Forfar Athletic a week later, heading home the last goal in a 7-0 win.
That was as good as it got, though.
Teijsse made only three more starts for the club and in January he joined German side Wuppertaler SV on loan until the end of the season.
A club statement said: “We would like to thank Yordi for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
