Former Dundee United midfielder Scott Allan and Sutton United’s FA Cup hero Roarie Deacon have become Neil McCann’s first signings for Dundee.
Allan (25) joins on a season-long loan from Celtic, while Deacon, also a midfielder, has agreed a two- year deal.
Allan started his career at Tannadice before moving down south.
It was back in Scotland with Hibs that he enjoyed his most successful spell to date, earning him a transfer to Celtic.
There, he has struggled for first team football, however.
Deacon came through the ranks at Arsenal before gaining experience in Leagues One and Two in England.
Most recently, he has been with Sutton United where he impressed last season during their FA Cup run, starring against both Leeds United and his old club Arsenal.
The likes of Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Cardiff, Charlton and Millwall were all linked with him after his cup performances.
