Dundeeās pre-season winning habit continued at Arbroath.
The Dark Blues followed up their comfortable victory at St Mirren with a late one at Gayfield.
Behind at half-time to a Steven Doris goal, they scored twice after 80 minutes through Faissal El Bakhtaoui and new signing Randy Wolters.
A decent travelling support saw midweek signing Jack Hendry get a start, along with trialists Crescendo van Berkel and Nils Rutten.
It was Hendry who gave away an early penalty, won and scored by Doris.
It was the usual pre-season raft of changes at half-time, one of the being third trialist, Finn Glen Kamara.
Dundee eventually levelled in the 82nd minute. Danny Williams crossed from the right, Craig Wightonās shot hit the post and El Bakhtaoui finished off the rebound.
Then two minutes later Wolters grabbed a winner with an excellent strike.
