Dundee are sweating over the fitness of Craig Wighton as he faces a race against time to be fit for Sunday’s derby with Dundee United.
The Scotland under-21 international is awaiting the results of a scan on his injured knee and was forced to sit out Saturday’s 2-0 Group C win over Buckie Thistle at Dens Park.
Wighton, who famously scored the goal which sealed United’s relegation to the Championship the last time the sides played, should find out the results today or tomorrow.
