Winger Danny Williams has left Dundee by mutual consent. The 29-year-old Englishman last featured for the Dark Blues on August 19 in a 2-1 loss to Aberdeen at Pittodrie. A club statement read: “Dundee Football Club can confirm that Danny Williams has today left the club by mutual consent. “Danny signed for the club in the summer of 2016 after putting pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement. “He made his debut for the club against East Fife in the Betfred Cup and went on to play a further 30 times for the club. “The club would like to thank Danny for his efforts during his time at Dens and wish him all the best for the future.”
