Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston is weighing up moves for Dundee pair James Vincent and Kostadin Gadzhalov.
The out-of-favour duo have been recommended to the Pars boss for loan switches and Johnston is keen to strengthen his squad for a promotion push.
He added: “I have been trying to get players in, believe me, but sometimes you think you’re close and then something else happens and it doesn’t quite work out.
“But we’ve got a few players we’re looking at and we’ll see how it progresses over the next couple of weeks.
“Vincent and Gadzhalov are two of a number of players who have been recommended to us but we’re looking at all our options at the moment, and seeing what positions we need to strengthen, before we make any decisions.”
