Dundee have rejected a bid from Celtic for defender Jack Hendry, Neil McCann has confirmed.
The Hoops’ interest in the centre-back has been an open secret for several weeks but the “very low” offer made for Hendry hasn’t come close to tempting Dundee into selling their prized asset.
With a few days left in the transfer window, though, McCann does not expect that bid to be the last one.
He said: “There’s been a bid, a low bid, very low, but nothing since.
“I would think there would be more interest in the player but clearly they were told it wasn’t enough and that will be the message if it continues in that vein.”
