Dundee are in the running to bring West Ham striker Toni Martinez to Dens Park on loan.
Neil McCann is keen to recruit a centre-forward before the transfer window closes on Wednesday and the 20-year-old Spaniard is one of the players on his radar, Courier Sport understands.
Martinez came on as a second-half substitute in the recent FA Cup tie at Shrewsbury for his Hammers’ debut.
The Spaniard has scored 12 goals for the under-23s this season.
He was signed from Valencia for over £2 million in 2016 after representing his country at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level.
Martinez scored in the FA Cup during his loan spell at Oxford United last season against Premier League opposition Newcastle United.
