Dundee manager Neil McCann has had his two-match touchline ban reduced to one on appeal.
McCann and St Johnstone substitute goalkeeper Zander Clark were found guilty of ‘excessive misconduct’ after clashing at the end of the Perth side’s 4-0 victory at Dens Park on March 10.
Clark accepted his punishment, and his ban has now been served, but McCann challenged the penalty.
His SFA hearing took place at Hampden Park yesterday, with the original decision upheld but the punishment cut.
Ironically, the only game that McCann will have to watch from the stand is the return of Saints to Dens on Saturday.
Dundee travel to Motherwell the following week before McCann returns to the dugout for the final three Premiership fixtures against Hamilton, Ross County and Partick Thistle.
The Dark Blues are currently 10th in the table, four points ahead of County and five clear of Thistle.
