Neil McCann is set to have a double injury boost for tomorrow’s Tayside derby against St Johnstone.
Experienced duo Darren O’Dea and Paul McGowan are both expected to be available for the first post-split fixture.
O’Dea missed both the Celtic and Rangers matches after limping off against Hearts, while McGowan was absent at Ibrox after picking up a knock in training.
Dundee are coming up against an injury-ravaged Saints team who only have one fit centre-forward (Steven MacLean) to call upon.
The last time the teams met, neither O’Dea nor McGowan played in the 4-0 thrashing the Perth men inflicted on McCann’s men.
