Dundee are bracing themselves to receive bids for star central defender Steven Caulker.
The English transfer window closes today at 5pm and Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United are reportedly ready to tempt the Dark Blues with an offer of £1.5 million for the big Englishman.
Rangers are are also being credited with an interest in the player but it seems his likely destination if he does leave Dens will be south of the border, with Elland Road boss Marcelo Bielsa leading the race for his signature.
Caulker, who has been capped once by England and featured for Tottenham and Liverpool, has been a key player for Neil McCann’s men since joining Dundee on an 18-month deal in February following his release from Queens Park Rangers.
The 26-year-old returned home early from Dundee’s pre-season training camp in Portugal with an ankle injury but was fit to start the Premiership opening match against St Mirren last Saturday – his 16th appearance for the Dark Blues.
