The transfer window closed in England at 5pm last night with Steven Caulker still very much a Dundee player.
The big centre-half had been the subject of intense speculation with Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United being linked with a potential £1.5 million move for the former England defender.
That offer never materialised as the deadline passed down south although it is understood Caulker is still attracting attention from elsewhere with Turkish side Trabzonspor the latest to be credited with an interest.
The 26-year-old, who has also played for Tottenham and Liverpool, has been a key player for Neil McCann’s men since joining Dundee on an 18-month deal in February.
While the window has now closed in England, it remains open in Scotland until the end of this month meaning there could yet be bids for Caulker and Dundee’s other prize asset Glen Kamara.
