Dundee have confirmed the signing of former Rangers and Scotland striker Kenny Miller.
The 38-year-old was a free agent having left his position as Livingston player/manager earlier this month after just seven weeks in charge of the Premiership new boys.
A whole host of clubs including ones abroad were determined to snap up the veteran front man with St Mirren understood to be leading the chase for his signature.
However, his former Rangers team-mate, Dundee boss Neil McCann, has persuaded Miller to sign a two-year deal at Dens.
The manager has been desperate to add to the firepower at his disposal with Dundee netting just once in their last four games which have all ended in defeat with the Dark Blues currently propping up the Premiership table.
Now, Miller will almost certainly make his debut for his new club at home to Motherwell on Saturday.
