Dundee boss Neil McCann has snapped up Celtic left-back Calvin Miller on a season-long long.
The 20-year-old, who signed a new deal with the Hoops earlier this month that will keep him at Parkhead until 2020, has made five first-team appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
However, the Scotland youth international admitted himself after putting pen to paper on his new Celtic contract that he was keen to go out on loan.
Miller said: “The manager is obviously confident in me.
“He sees me long-term at the club and wants me to develop and that’s why he wants me to go out on loan. I feel like I need that myself.”
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Dundee centre-half Dan Jefferies has gone out on loan to Partick Thistle until January.
