Dundee boss Jim McIntyre has made his fourth signing of the transfer window with the addition of Sunderland striker Andrew Nelson on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old was farmed out by Black Cats boss Jack Ross to Darlington last month where he scored six goals in just five games.
Nelson also had a spell on loan at Falkirk last season but McIntyre has now secured his services on a permanent basis despite interest from other clubs both here and down south.
The Dens boss has already added Craig Curran, Seny Dieng and Andrew Davies in this window.
