Dundee sign Swedish midfielder on loan

Dundee have signed Swedish midfielder Andreas Hadenius on loan from Halmstads BK until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old, who impressed manager Jim McIntyre on trial, will also be an option at centre-back.

Hadenius isn’t expected to feature at Tynecastle tonight but should be in the Dundee squad at the weekend.

“We had him here on trial,” said McIntyre. “He fitted in well with the group when he was here.

“He’s versatile. He’s played a lot of games in the middle of the park. He’s over six feet, strong and can pass the ball.

“But he’s also been brought up as a centre-back as well. He’s got that flexibility.”
