It was a busy transfer deadline day for both Dundee clubs with 11 signings a piece on both sides of Tannadice Street.
But who are Dundee FC’s latest signings and how good are they?
Scott Wright
Striker Scott Wright impressed during his time at Aberdeen. Many Dons fans will remember his remarkable hat-trick for the side in a 6-0 thumping of Partick Thistle at Firhill.
Andrew Nelson
Sunderland striker Andrew Nelson has signed for Dundee on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old was farmed out by Black Cats boss Jack Ross to Darlington last month where he scored six goals in just five games. He has also played for Falkirk.
Craig Curran
Curran has signed a contract until 2021 and has joined Dundee from Dundee United. The striker previously played for Ross County, making more than 100 appearances.
Seny Dieng
The QPR goalkeeper has joined Dundee on loan. He most recently playing for Stevenage in the English League Two. Other previous clubs include Grasshoppers in Switzerland, FC Grenchen and MSV Duisburg.
Ethan Robson
Sunderland midfielder Ethan Robson has joined the Dens Park side. The 22-year-old made nine appearances for the English team.
Andrew Davies
The former Ross County and Hartlepool United player has signed an 18-month deal with the Dark Blues. He was the Staggies’ captain when they lifted the League Cup under Jim McIntyre in 2016.
Andy Dales
Dales joins the Dark Blues on loan until the end of the season from Scunthorpe United. He is a product of Derby County’s academy.
Ryan McGowan
The Aussie joins from English League 1 side Bradford City, having previously played for both Hearts and Dundee United. McGowan appeared 26 times for the Bantams this season and has been capped on 20 occasions by his country.
John O’Sullivan
The 25-year-old Irish attacking midfielder started his career at Blackburn and has also played for Carlisle. He made four appearances for Ireland’s national under-21s side.
Andreas Hadenius
The Swedish midfielder has joined Dundee on loan from Halmstads BK until the end of the season.
James Horsfield
The 23-year-old right-back has joined the Dark Blues on loan from Scunthorpe United until the end of the season.
