James McPake watching the Dundee United v St Mirren playoff final. He'll now lead Dundee against their city neighbours in the Chamionship next season.
Dundee are set to unveil James McPake as their new manager at Dens tomorrow.
The former Dark Blues defender was put in charge of the team on an interim basis for the last league game of the season against St Mirren following Jim McIntyre’s sacking.
McPake then threw his hat in the ring to take the job on a permanent basis but had to fight off stiff competition from a lengthy list of candidates including Alloa manager Jim Goodwin.
Now, 34-year-old McPake will be unveiled to the media at lunchtime tomorrow.
