Dundee midfielder Jesse Curran has left the side after four years. The 22-year-old contract at Dens Park expires this summer. Curran signed for Dundee in 2015 and made 53 appearances for the Dark Blues. The Australian, who had loan spells at both East Fife and Montrose, is said to be seeking a new team closer to his home country. A statement from Dundee FC reads: “Jesse Curran has left the club following the expiry of his contract in the summer. “Midfielder Jesse signed for the club in 2015 and went on to play 53 times over the past four seasons, scoring two goals. “After four years in Scotland, Australian Jesse has indicated to the club that he will be looking to play football closer to home. “We would like to thank Jesse for his efforts while at Dundee and wish him all the best for the future.”
