Gordon Strachan has sealed his return to football with Dundee.
Courier Sport first revealed several weeks ago that the Dens Park club had approached the former Scotland and Celtic manager to become a technical director with the Dark Blues.
Talks have taken place since then and both Dundee and Strachan are happy with the remit the 62-year-old will have.
His main focus will be overseeing the club’s academy.
Strachan has radical plans to develop future stars for Dundee and Scotland after spending the last two years travelling Europe to study best practice in that field.
After starting his career at Dens 45 years ago, Strachan’s football career has now come full circle.
