Dundee are understood to be running the rule over former Dundee United winger Billy King. The 25-year-old is a free agent after being released by the Tangerines back in May. King spent the second half of last season out on loan at Gillingham but only made three appearances for the English League 1 outfit. Now though he has been given the chance to impress with the Dark Blues. Earlier this summer, another former United player, midfielder Fraser Fyvie, was also on trial at Dens but the club did not offer him a contract.
