The emergence of exciting young talents Finn Robertson and Scott Banks has been noticed at international level.
Robertson, Dundee’s 16-year-old midfielder, has joined Dundee United’s in-demand rising star Scott Banks (17) in the latest Scotland under-19 squad.
Billy Stark’s team will play two warm-up matches against Japan in Pinatar, Spain, as preparation gets under way for the UEFA qualifying in October.
Also named in the Scots’ pool is the Dark Blues’ loan signing from Rangers, Josh McPake, who joined the Dens men earlier this week.
