Dundee boss James McPake has snapped up Hibs left-back Sean Mackie on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old was signed by the Edinburgh club from Raith Rovers in 2016 for a £25,000 fee on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
Mackie subsequently spent time out on loan at Berwick Rangers and Edinburgh City.
Last season back at Hibs, he deputised for the injured Lewis Stevenson with his performances resulting in a first Scotland Under-21 call-up.
He has made four appearances so far this season with McPake commenting: “We’re delighted to get it over the line.
“Sean is a player that I have seen progressing at Hibs from the Development team to the 1st team over the past few years and he has always impressed me.”
“Sean is highly rated and adds to the depth of our squad with real quality.”
