Striker Lawrence Shankland was among the players taking part, fresh from his memorable Scotland debut against San Marino which saw him net his first goal for the national side.
He was joined on the pitches by team mates and by United manager Robbie Neilson.
Neilson and Shankland ended up going head-to-head in one of the matches, and it didn’t end well for the young striker.
The manager, a former defender, showed off his dribbling skills before kicking the ball through the legs of his star player and scoring a goal, much to the amusement of onlookers.
Speaking after the event, Shankland advised The Courier that we should feel free to delete the footage.
He added: “I’m sure he (Neilson) will be ready to remind me.”
