Dundee United boss Robbie Neilson seemed almost as pleased to see Louis Appere agree a new contract as sign one himself. The 20-year-old frontman, like Neilson, has been awarded a fresh deal to keep him at the club until the end of the 2021-22 season. The United gaffer said: “I’m delighted to get big Louis signed up. “He is a great prospect. “We have tried to get it over the line for a while because he is a big asset. “If he stays here for a few years and fulfils his potential then he can really go onto much bigger things. “We have tried to get it over the line for a while because he is a big asset.
