Ex-Dundee United star Ryan Gauld continued his incredible run of form for SC Farense on Monday night as he got his eighth goal in his last seven games.
Gauld’s equaliser – a stunning left-foot strike – with seven minutes remaining against Leixoes made it nine for the campaign for the former United, Sporting Lisbon and Hibs man.
The 24-year-old joined the Portuguese second-tier outfit on a permanent deal in the summer.
He has enjoyed an outstanding campaign so far, with the LigaPro side sitting second in the table just two points behind Nacional.
Gauld – who swapped Tannadice for Lisbon in a £3 million deal six years ago – bagged the first hat-trick of his career last month against Academico de Viseu.
