Dundee United dominate the official SPFL Championship team of the season, with a magnificent seven players making the cut.
The final vote was to decide the two strikers, with Tannadice goal machine Lawrence Shankland unsurprisingly getting the nod in the online ballot.
However, there was a shock victory for Partick Thistle’s Lewis Mansell with a 45% share, well clear of second-placed Shankland on 28% and the likes of Dunfermline’s Kevin Nisbet and United’s Nicky Clark.
Shankland thereby joined Tangerines’ goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist, defenders Liam Smith and Mark Reynolds, as well as midfielders Ian Harkes, Calum Butcher and Paul McMullan, in the final selection.
Making up the 11 were Mansell, Arbroath’s Thomas O’Brien, Sam Roscoe of Ayr and Inverness midfielder Aaron Doran.
