Brechin City are keen to add former Dundee United and Aberdeen defender Luc Bollan and midfielder Connor Coupe – just released by Forfar – to their ranks.
Bollan came through at Tannadice and played twice in the first team as well as gaining experience playing in League Two with a Cowdenbeath side managed by his dad Gary.
The 20-year-old arrived at Pittodrie last summer, with the centre back gaining more senior game time on loan at Peterhead before the coronavirus shutdown cut the move short.
The Blue Toon are also interested in Bollan however manager Jim McInally is not looking to bring anyone on board until his budget for the new season is known.
That has opened the door for the Glebe Park club to make a move.
Brechin boss Mark Wilson has also started looking to add one-time Dundee player Coupe, 20, to his squad.
He wasn’t offered a new deal at Station Park.
Coupe joined the Loons in 2018 and went on to feature in over 60 games, scoring twice, with most of his appearances coming off the bench.
