Ray McKinnon says he will stay with Raith if they go up

Raith Rovers boss Ray McKinnon has pledged to stay with the Kirkcaldy club if they make it to the Premiership.
McKinnon is understood to be Dundee United chairman Stephen Thompson’s number one target to replace sacked manager Mixu Paatelainen.
United won’t make their move until after Raith’s involvement with the play-offs is over.
They have a decent chance of progressing to the semi-final stage after beating Hibs 1-0 in the quarter-final first leg on Wednesday night.
And if Raith go all the way and secure a place in the top flight, McKinnon, who was today named the Championship manager of the month for April, has said he will stay.
He told STV: “If I take Raith up, I will be the Raith Rovers manager next season.
“It is as simple as that.
“That is simply my focus and that will remain that way until something changes.
