Dundee United have made a new appointment to their board of directors.
It is hoped local business woman Laura Conway will “strengthen and support the changes that will be required within the club” as it attempts to adjust to life outside the Scottish Premiership.
A club statement reads: “Dundee United are delighted to welcome local entrepreneur Laura Conway to their board as an Associate Director.
“Laura, a former pupil of Kirkton High School (now Baldragon Academy), is a graduate of Dundee University and a Chartered Accountant having started her career with KPMG.
“Laura has been in business for over 20 years and has recently sold her company, Presentation Products Group which had a strong reputation for quality and service supplying packaging to the world’s most prestigious brands.
“The Group had operations in Scotland, Hong Kong and China employing more than 150 employees and supplied clients throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
“Laura’s professional qualifications and experience in business will strengthen and support the changes that will be required within the club during this challenging period.
“Laura and her family are lifelong supporters of Dundee United.”
