Dundee United are set to be handed a triple injury boost for Tuesday’s clash with Alloa.
Skipper Fraser Fyvie and defensive pair Frederic Frans and Callum Booth are all on course to be available.
Fyvie limped off in last Saturday’s win over Ross County with a hamstring strain. A scan has revealed only minimal damage, so he could be in his usual place against the Wasps.
Frans (calf) and Booth (hamstring) both missed out last weekend but have been making good progress this week.
“They will both be back training tomorrow, so they should be OK,” said boss Robbie Neilson.
And Fyvie could also be back working normally over the weekend.
“We are hoping to give him a bit of a run on Saturday and then try to get him training on Sunday,” Neilson added.
“Even if he doesn’t make Tuesday, he will be back for the next game.”
