Defenders Frederic Frans and Callum Booth remain Dundee United’s big injury doubts for today’s trip to Ross County.
And by the time the squad headed north after training at Tannadice yesterday afternoon, gaffer Robbie Neilson expected to have a clearer idea of whether or not they’d make it.
Frans pulled up in the warm-up before Saturday’s win over Queen of the South with a calf problem.
And a hamstring strain suffered by Booth during that game means neither had trained with the rest of the squad before today’s session.
“We’ll see how they are and take things from there,” said Robbie.
“Hopefully they are OK, but we have William Edjenguele who came in last week for Freddy and Jamie Robson is available as well if Callum doesn’t make it.
“Jamie played against Hibs in the bounce game we had during the week, so he is ready to play if needed.”
United have sold out their 600 tickets for the game but fans can also get them at the ground.
