The man who is believed to be the Dundee United’s oldest living former player will be in attendance for the Championship clash against Morton on Tannadice on Saturday.
Jack Butchart, who celebrated his 95th birthday this week, will be there as a boardroom guest of fans’ group ArabTRUST.
He had a brief spell in the Tannadice squad in the mid-1940s.
Jack’s family had strong United connections before that and his father Joseph was club secretary during its formative years as Dundee Hibernian.
This afternoon Arabs had the chance to get up close and personal with two of the team when Frederic Frans and Yannick Loemba visited the club shop at Tannadice.
Congolese winger Loemba has become a big favourite with the support because of his displays and posing with fans for selfies.
