Csaba Laszlo could go with a big man in attack as Dundee United travel to face Dumbarton today for the second time this week.
Danish pair Thomas Mikkelsen and the fit again Emil Lyng are both in the manager’s thoughts as he seeks another three points to strengthen the Tangerines’ challenge for an end-of-season play-off spot.
“I think especially in the front we have the option with Mikkelsen, definitely,” he said.
“Lyng is back now from his illness and he has to fight for his place.
“We have had a little bit of time to look at the players in training and think about how, maybe, we change things.
“What is more important is we have a winning performance again.”
Today will be United’s eighth game in just 25 days, but any changes Csaba does make will have more to do with playing the same opposition twice in a row, rather than tiredness.
He’s also revealed some of the younger players at Tannadice have also forced their way into his thoughts for today and the games that lie ahead.
“Young boys like Matty Smith are not tired, they are OK.
“And in the Development team on Monday I saw good performances.
“I am not scared to bring these young players to the field because I know they can do well.
“We have a large squad and we can use it and do well.”
