Dundee United boss Csaba Laszlo will be focusing on finishing this week in a bid to avoid a repeat of Saturday’s draw at Brechin.
The Tangerines paid the price for their missed chances at Glebe Park, where they dominated possession but in the end had to settle for a point.
And even when they beat Falkirk 3-0 at the beginning of last week, the gaffer did express some concern over the number of scoring opportunities that went a-begging.
Now Csaba is working to make sure the finishing touch is there when Dunfermline visit Tannadice this weekend.
“At Brechin we were the better team and we must be more clinical, more focused,” he said.
“We controlled the ball, we controlled the opponent.
“We definitely had many possibilities and we have to work on that.
“Less goals is really a problem. You have to finish.
“This will always be an issue for a team that plays attacking football.
“You can concede a goal always, as we did, but in the front you must be capable of scoring more and, at the moment, we are not.”
