The Dundee United manager saga will end tomorrow when Csaba Laszlo is unveiled as new boss.
The ex-Hearts boss is set to get the nod ahead of John Hughes as United go for his experience of getting teams out of trouble.
Although he left Tynecastle in 2010, he enjoyed a successful two years there in difficult circumstances.
Others mentioned had included ex-assistant Gordon Young, Livingston’s David Hopkin and St Johnstone gaffer Tommy Wright.
They’ve now been crossed off the list as has Steve Evans, who the Tele revealed yesterday was interested. He did put his name forward but in the end was not interviewed.
