In a surprise deadline day move, striker Tope Obadeyi has left Dundee United.
The 27-year-old only signed up after leaving Kilmarnock at the end of last season, but it was announced tonight he has been released from his contract.
He made 25 appearances in tangerine scoring two goals. His last outing was in the Scottish Cup defeat at Ross County earlier this month.
United have also released young attacker Justin Johnson who had spent most of this season on loan at York City.
