Dundee United are being linked with a move for Danish striker Thomas Mikkelsen.
The 26-year-old has been with Odense since 2014 and during that time has had one loan spell in Sweden with the Tangerines’ old UEFA Cup foes IFK Gothenburg and another with Vejle BK in his homeland.
With BK last year he struck the back of the net eleven times in 28 appearances.
With no deal complete, United have not commented on speculation in Scandinavia he could be on his way to Tannadice.
For some weeks now, however, manager Ray McKinnon has made clear his intention to add a front man during the January transfer window.
