Their long unbeaten run won’t prevent Dundee United gaffer Ray McKinnon considering making changes when his takes his side to Raith Rovers.
United are looking to make it 13 games without a loss and the plan is to chalk up an 11th win on that run.
And if he feels the best way to do that is by freshening his starting line-up, he will.
Ray has stressed he was happy with United’s defensive display as they beat Ayr United last week.
Equally, though, he hasn’t hidden his frustration with what was a below-par performance when in possession.
That could mean changes in the forward areas and he does have options on that score.
Right up top, although striker Simon Murray is still out, Nick van der Velden could feature in the starting XI.
And slightly deeper, midfielder Stewart Murdoch is pushing hard for a recall to the team.
It should be said sticking with the same team is also a possibility.
“The boys had a dip in terms of performance last week but, given the outstanding work they’ve been putting in over the last couple of months, I think they can be allowed that,” he said.
“And we did win the game.
“We do want to get back up a level, though, and we will need to because we know Raith are a good team and Stark’s Park is a hard place to go.”
