Ray McKinnon believes he’s got a jack-of-all-trades in new signing Lewis Toshney.
And the Dundee United boss believes the 24-year-old Dundonian will prove a master of several positions for the Tangerines.

And while his versatility appeals to the gaffer, quality was the No 1 reason for fighting so hard to get him.
“He is a player United fans will take to immediately,” said Ray.
“He can play right-back, centre-half and midfield and that versatility is good to have.
“But having worked with him I also believe he is an excellent player.
“He’s still developing and I’m looking forward to him doing that here.”
It now looks certain Toshney will be joined at United by old boy Willo Flood.
The Irishman is odds-on to return to the club three years after he left for Aberdeen.
The 31-year-old is likely to help the Dons through their Europa League clash with Fola Esch this week and next before signing up again at Tannadice.
Kilmarnock’s Tope Obadeyi should complete his planned move in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Another striking target, Denny Johnstone of Birmingham City, has been missed out on.
Despite a late bid to secure the services of the former Celtic man, he’s joined Colchester United in a deal believed to have cost in the region of £45,000.
