Tom Duthie: Lenny a good fit for Hibs By Tom Duthie June 10 2016, 5:00am June 10 2016, 5:00am Share Tom Duthie: Lenny a good fit for Hibs Share via Facebook Twitter Linkedin Whatsapp Messenger Email Post link https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/dundee-united/2619880/tom-duthie-lenny-good-fit-hibs/ Copy Link Like I said last week, if I was appointing the manager at Hibs, Peter Houston would be the man I’d go for. They haven’t and Hibees have instead gone for former Celtic and Bolton boss Neil Lennon. Obviously not my first choice but not a bad appointment if you are asking me. I always felt Lennon did a decent job at Celtic and was unlucky with the circumstances that unfolded at crisis-hit Bolton. At Hibs he is more than capable of building on the work done by predecessor Alan Stubbs. And I’m sure his new employers will give him a decent sum of money to bring in the players he wants. That, of course, is bad news for Dundee United as they aim to get out of the Championship at the first time of asking next season. Not that I think it will bother manager Ray McKinnon. He already knows he has a big job on his hands at Tannadice and will not be distracted by events down at Easter Road. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
