Dundee United have confirmed two pre-season fixtures for early next month.
New boss Ray McKinnon will take his Tangerines to Forfar on Tuesday, July 5 and former club Brechin City on Saturday, July 9, for Forfarshire Cup ties.
Prior to that there will be a closed door friendly against Highland League Cove Rangers on July 2, and a similar game on July 12. Blackpool are expected to provide the opposition for that match.
United are also still talking to Sunderland about a Tannadice friendly on July 26 or 27.
McKinnon’s first competitive game in charge will be the League Cup tie at Arbroath on Friday, July 15.
