After three days of intensive talks with Tangerines chairman Stephen Thompson, it’s understood Raymond McKinnon has agreed to become manager.
United were making no comment this evening, but after leaving his third lengthy meeting with Thompson this afternoon the 45-year-old informed current club Raith Rovers he would be quitting his post.
That can only mean one thing, that he’s accepted the chance to take the reins at Tannadice.
McKinnon is expect to sign a three year deal with the club he supported as a boy and went on to play for.
